The owners of Woodmere Cemetery have been very gracious allowing me to make the cemetery

records available online.  I have been volunteering at Woodmere Cemetery on Saturdays since

November 2003.  I have taken some of the older section maps and added information to them to

make it easier to locate graves for visitors.  I also handle the genealogical research requests, so if

you need photocopies of records, please send your request to me at the cemetery address (9400

West Fort Street, Detroit, Michigan 48209) along with a self-addressed stamped envelope.

 

I have published two books with Arcardia Publishing, Detroit's Woodmere Cemetery and Michigan

Memorial Park.  The sales of those publications help to keep this website available to you at no

charge.  I speak to various groups on how to conduct cemetery research and conduct tours of

Woodmere Cemetery. I am also a recipient of The Federation of Genealogical Societies' Award of

Merit for 2009.
